Lazy days can be great

Let's be honest, everyone loves sitting around the house all day, eating whatever they want, sleeping 5 different times, and binge watching our favorite shows. There is definitely a time and place for these special days, but they should not become a lifestyle.

The best part of "lazy" days, is the amount of potential. The potential for what exactly?

Lazy days are the rare days where our time is not restricted by other priorities and ultimately allows for more freedom than we might imagine. I've found that its harder to be more productive in lazy days than it is on a typical workday. Why is this? Personally, I believe its because we work well under pressure and deadlines. When there is something that has to be accomplished by a certain time, it forces us to take action and get it done. However, on these lazy days, there is nothing but our own self-motivation available that could push us to do these things. This is why setting goals WITH deadlines are very important. Setting goals without deadlines provide no time pressure, which is essential for success for all of us who'd rather be in bed sleeping. It is essential that these lazy days can be sued towards improving ourselves and work on achieving the goals we've set.

So, the next time one of those long awaited day-offs rolls around, get up, set some goals WITH deadlines, get them accomplished, and THEN go watch your favorite Netflix series all night.
