Many cool girls prefer braided hairstyles, and heart-shaped 27 hair color braids are very popular recently, do you know how to do it? Come and learn with me!

What is a heart-shaped braid hairstyle?
As the name suggests, a heart braid is a braid that usually has a heart design and can be incorporated into different hairstyles such as cornrows, lemonade braids, etc.
You can do heart-shaped braids on the sides, middle, or back of your head.
The most common method used by professional stylists when creating heart-shaped braids is the needle braid technique.
Most stylists usually choose a criss-cross design and incorporate a heart-weave design to create intricate patterns, which we have to admit is usually a work of art.

How to make a heart braid?
Before you start making heart braids, you need to have some necessary tools:
Wide tooth comb;
Rat tail comb;
Some setting gel;
Two or three braids;
Thread and needle;
With these in place, you can start braiding your wig into a heart-shaped braid by following these steps.
1. Prepare and brush your 6x6 closure wig
First, you'd better wash your hair with a good shampoo and conditioner and dry it with a towel.
Then run a wide-toothed comb through your hair to remove any possible tangles.

2. Outline the shape of the heart braid
Find out where you want the heart shape design to be.
As mentioned earlier, this may be on the side of the head, the back, the whole head, or in the middle.
After you figure it out, you need to make an outline with your rat-tail comb.
If you prefer a heart-shaped braid on one side of your head, place the comb in the center of your eyebrow to get an idea of the outline and part your HD lace closure wig into a C-shape.
The first one will be a circular C, but the next one will be an AC shape, all the way to where the ear starts.
At this point, you should be able to see the heart shape.
Note: Larger hearts tend to look better and are more popular because curves are often defined.
If possible, twist your hair in the center of the heart to ensure you have the perfect heart design.
Note: The side of the heart where the hairline is located should naturally form a point, unlike the other side where the defined point is obtained by carefully separating the circular C-shape.

3. Apply some setting gel
The next step is to use some clips to secure the rest of the hair so it doesn't get in the way of making a heart-shaped braid.
Don't forget to apply some setting gel to the separate heart designs and then re-brush them with a comb so your heart shape braided outline looks very clean.

4. Part your hair diagonally
Once you're happy with the heart, use the end of a rat-tail comb to part the heart hair down the middle and apply some gel to the section line.
Remember that you should have two half-hearts of the same size.

5. Braid your hair in a heart shape
Secure one side of your two-part heart and start working on the outermost part.
To get the curved heart part, it's best to part the hair diagonally from the outermost point on that side, making sure that the diagonal is too far apart at the same time.
Next, weave the heart shape from the inside corner and move up until you reach the end of the diagonal section.
During this process, you need to constantly change the direction of your hand to get a smooth and perfect heart shape.

6. Add a hair bundle
It's well known to connect the diagonal to the bottom part of your hair.
Remember to use only a small amount of braided hair so the heart doesn't look too bulky.

7. Repeat to connect the ends of the braid
Repeat to finish the other half of the heart braid.
Finally, thread and needle are used to connect the two ends of the heart weave.
Of course, you can choose to weave them together instead of stitching them together.

Some extra tips on how to make a heart braid
Are you ready to make this cool style your own?
These two tips will help make the process easier.
1. Wash your hair with a sulfate-free shampoo to remove buildup on your hair and scalp.
This is a key preparation step before knitting.
Just make sure you use a sulfate-free shampoo -- it will gently clean your hair without removing its natural oils.
2. Show some love to your scalp for healthy hair and cute braids!
We sincerely recommend that you use scalp serum or oil in spray or dropper form for balance and good moisturization.
