Getting Back on the Weight Loss Wagon

Back in 2013, I had bariatric surgery to help me lose weight. I did great at first and lost almost 200 pounds. During the past couple of years, though, I've put a lot back on. That is disappointing by itself, but I feel worse because I'm in the wrong mindset to get back on track. When I was preparing for surgery and for the first couple of years afterward, if I had a craving or just thought, "Hey I want [insert junk food here]," my brain kicked in quickly and squashed it. Now, I find that the opposite is happening. When those same thoughts or cravings pop up, my brain says, "Oooo, yeah! That is a great idea. Let's do that."

Has anyone else dealt with this or something like it? How did you deal with it and get past it? I really want to get back to that healthier mindset.
