Forest Bathing

There's a concept in Japanese traditional medicine called Shinrin-yoku Forest Therapy (Forest Bathing) that focuses on spending quiet and still time in natural places as a means to unwind and de-stress. Anyone have any experience working this practice into their busy weekly lives?

Im excited to see this topic! I read an article about how beneficial this can be for depression and anxiety, so I started by walking barefoot daily around my property to enable myself to soak up the positive ions from the soil. I love to hike so I am working my way up to a barefoot hike in the nearby Aiken State Park forest.
