    10,000 steps a day

Do you go out of your way to reach this goal or did you notice you were already hitting 6,000 steps in your day-to-day life? Now that you mention it, I didn't realize there were apps that counted steps! Since I spend most of my day sitting (I'm an accountant), I imagine that might count would be...

    Video about Disabilities

If you haven't seen it already, I suggest everyone watch this video: . It really puts in perspective how day-to-day life is for someone that is hearing impaired. Could you imagine what it would be like for everyone to start using sign language with you on a random day? I always tear up a little...

    Started a Relationship

Yes, I know it's silly, but ever since my breakup three years ago I longed to meet someone who was caring and loving. Ever since I broke up with my ex, I've been in a dark place and depressed. Meeting this new person has really given me hope. Even if it doesn't work out, at least it shows me...

    Waking up at 5:30 AM

I wake up at 6 am every day for work. On days I don't work, I wake up at around 8 or 9. It's definitely easier to wake up early in the morning if you go to bed earlier. Waking up at 6 really hasn't changed my life, however, I do notice that at the end of the week I am much more tired.

    Busy mommy

Keep your cell phone in another room because this is ONE major thing that will waste your time and hinder your productivity. Depending on your children's sleep schedule, you could stay up late or wake up early to take advantage of "quiet time." I'm sometimes more productive at one in the morning...

Dealing with the toxic people in your life

I'm lucky that right now I don't have many toxic people in my life, but trust me, I dealt with quite a few in the past (mostly immature kids from college). My advice is to not fall for their games or traps. Toxic people love to manipulate, so it's easy to not realize the negative effect they are...
