I found that I needed to separate myself from my ex for some time. Cutting off any communication was really miserable and very difficult, but ultimately I think I was able to feel better sooner post-breakup. I have a lot of respect for my ex, and think he’s a great person so I would love to be...
Hi,
I have a crazy sweet tooth - I always want chocolate or something sweet! I’m trying to get better about reigning in my cravings. What are some tricks that people use to “turn off” their sweet cravings?
My favorite way to start my morning lately has been to wake up earlier than I need to for work, grab my coffee and go for a walk! I usually just walk about 20-30 minutes or about a mile, but it gets me out in the sunshine and moving my body without being too strenuous on my body like running...
I have the exact same issue all the time! What helps me the most is to truly schedule these activities in, and promise myself I’m going to do them. Someone recently told me that you wouldn’t like it if you had a super flaky friend who always cancelled on plans - don’t be a flaky friend to yourself!
A few years ago, I set up an automatic transfer from my checking to my savings account for just 50$ every Friday. That’s really helped me because I don’t realize I’m saving any money, but when I look at my savings a month later I find I’ve saved 200-250$! It can be hard to keep that money in...

Why should you read it now? In addition to being named one of the...
Ah I love calendar blocking! I don't do it every day, but it makes the biggest difference in my productivity. Whenever I feel stressed or have too much on a plate, this is the best tool I have to use my time well.
This is really weird - but when I work from home I always have put shoes on! Otherwise, I find myself getting too comfortable and just wearing shoes makes me feel like I’m ready to go and down anything. I used to think that was really uncommon and I told a friend who said she did the same thing...
I hope you succeed! That would be so wonderful to get to spend more time with your family - I have friends who have done this and have never looked back.
I love this book! I haven't necessarily followed it to a T, but I think the key part of it is the thought process. I read the book about 2 years ago at this point, and still think all the time "do I love this item? Does it bring me joy?" when I'm cleaning out my closet or anything else.
“Farmers who wait for perfect weather never plant. If they watch every cloud, they never harvest” Ecclesiastes 11:4
Reminds me just to go ahead and do it - if I don't start, nothing will happen!
