Becoming a Hero

What Makes a Hero is probably one of my favorite TED talks ever. And not just because I'm a writer. While at face value this video covers novel protagonists, I also kind of see it as something everyone goes through. All of us have to go on our own journeys to find who we are and return to what was once home or common place only to find that what was once comfortable is suddenly too small.
I feel like I've returned home after my journey but I'm stuck in this too small space, and of course have plans to leave but its still difficult. Leaving everything I've known, even if its "too small" is still daunting, but also kind of exciting.
What journeys have you taken? What "too small" spaces have you left behind? Do you have plans for the future? Or perhaps another journey you'd like to take?

I haven't seen the talk "What Makes a Hero" but the idea of "being" a hero in my opinion, is only ever good in someone else's eyes. I guess the same could be said about being "humble". As soon as you say "I am humble", then immediately you are not! There are heroes that I sometimes think about. For example. paramedics, triage nurses etc..
